You should have the term on the front of your index card and the definition on the back. Think about doing two or three flashcards tonight so that you don't end up doing them all over the weekend. Remember that studying small bits of information at a time will help you to remember the material better!

Science: Comparison Paragraph due
Write a paragraph describing how soap affects water. How is soap with water different then just regular water? Does it look different? Can it do different things? Make sure that you include the word INTERFERENCE in your paragraph, and that you tell me what it means. Make sure that you write at least 5 sentences.
You need to write your paragraph on a separate sheet of paper. Make sure that you skip lines and that you are doing your best work!

Geography: If you did not finish your assignment in class on the five themes of geography then you need to finish it for homework. It is due tomorrow (Friday)! Remember you are answering the questions based on the five themes of geography. You are answering the questions for your hometown. You need to write your answers on the sheet that I gave you in class today.

Science: Letter on Surface Tension
Homework: Surface Tension
You are going to be writing your friend or family member a letter telling them everything that you know about surface tension. You will be writing a FORMAL letter so that means that you need to set it up in the correct format. You need to have the heading, the greeting, the body, and the closing in the letter that you write. Try writing the letter without looking at your notes. If you get stuck or cannot remember the facts by all means look back to refresh your memory.
Make sure that you include:
1. A definition of surface tension.
2. What you learned about surface tension from the experiments that we did in class.
You will be writing your letter on a separate sheet of paper. Make sure that skip lines and that you write in your neatest handwriting.
Social Studies:Work on the scaled map of your bedroom. You should have your map key and your map scale complete by today.
Remember that your map scale should look like this 1in = 1 foot. You can determine your own scale. I used 1 in = 1 foot as an example, you can create your own scale! Make sure that your map measurements are drawn according to your scale.

Social Studies: The Scaled Map of your bedroom is due today. Your assignment sheet should be in the Social Studies section of your 5 subject binder. You can also look at the criteria below (which is the same information as was passed out to you in class.)
Scaled Map of Your Bedroom
For homework you are going to be creating a scaled map of your bedroom. You need to include the following things in your map:
1. A compass rose
2. A scale
3. A map key
You can use any materials that you would like to create your map (markers, crayons, colored pencils, string, candy etc.) You can be creative. Make sure that you use a piece of cardstock or a small poster board to paste your material onto. Have fun!

At home you are going to be creating a Map of your bedroom.
Before you get started you need to create a map key. You need to decide what you are going to use for materials and what your materials are going to represent on your map. In the space provided below make a sketch of your map key. Make sure that you include which materials you are going to use and what each material represents. You can draw your map key on the paper provided for you.
Now you are going to draw a sketch of what you would like the map of your bedroom to look like. Make sure you include windows, your bed, any bookshelves or large objects that you have in your room. Please draw your sketch on the paper provided for you.
